ADMINISTRATION UPDATE
Dear CCS Friends and Families,
What makes CCS unique? It is not only the people who maintain the day-to-day workings of our school, but it is also the people who lend a hand to support us.
So often, the pace of life distracts us from pausing to appreciate the little things that amount to so much;
a parent who runs in the forgotten binder
a neighbor who helps carpool
the bus driver who returns the dropped mittens
a teacher who runs along with the kids at a XC race
the adults who volunteer to bring their talents and passions to students
the generous donors of tissues and snacks for classroom shelves
We wish you each a moment to pause, to reflect with gratitude, at those around you who contribute to our amazing community.
Be Well,
Stephanie, Jen and Cassandra

HALLOWEEN AT CCS
Per tradition, we will have our Halloween Parade from 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31st. Students are welcome to dress up if they wish. We ask that all costumes be respectful of everyone in our community. Costumes should not misrepresent groups of people, perpetuate stereotypes or exaggerate violence. For example, it could be offensive or unkind to dress as another gender, race or cultural group (such as Native American). If you'd like more information about the cultural implications of celebrating Halloween in schools please read:

Charlotte Central School student Nina Cusick plays Mary, one of the orphans. Nina is appearing in her first Lyric show, but she is no stranger to performing.
