Principal Message
What a great week it has been here at Reagan. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing our families at the Vista Ridge Homecoming Parade. A little rain could not keep us away and we definitely needed the rain. We wish Vista Ridge the best of luck for this week's game!
On campus the school year is progressing forward beautifully. Our administrative team and instructional coach have been observing classrooms and building community with our students. We are excited to get into lunch coverage this next week to see our students in a different environment. Mrs. Murphy, our assistant principal and I have been out at recess playing with students and we plan to continue the fun throughout the school year.
We hope to see all of our families at our two PTA events this next week. We have Chipotle spirit night on Tuesday and our Back to School Picnic on Friday. Mrs. Murphy and I will be at the picnic and we hope you come say hello.
In an effort to streamline communication with our community we have create a brief communication survey. Please take a moment to fill it out and give us feedback.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Alison Pennington

Traffic Reminder
Thank you for doing your part in ensuring the safety of all of our students during drop off and pick up. Your cooperation is appreciated with driving slowly in the designated direction and using the crosswalk to cross. Please remember to remain in your cars during drop off and pick up in order to speed up the process and maintain student safety. We urge you to please move your child’s seat to the passenger side of the car and practice exiting the car by themselves.
We must emphasize that these procedures must be followed:
- The bus lane is not accessible to parents at any time
- Double parking and/or leaving your car unattended in the drop off line is not allowed
- Please pull up as far as you can in the car line to speed up the drop off/pick up process
- All bike riders, adults and children, must walk bikes and scooters on campus for safety and proper modeling for our students
- Motorized vehicles such as golf carts, mopeds and electric bikes need to go through the parent drop off/pick up line, or park and walk to school
Learn more about our campus transportation guidelines and expectations by clicking on the videos below.
Considerations will be made concerning tardy slips in the event that the car lines are excessively long, or we experience inclement weather in the morning.
During morning drop off we have scheduled staff to help students get off their car between 7:10 and 7:30 am. Our doors do not open before 7:10 am and there is no adult supervision before this time. If you are dropping off after 7:30 am, please do so in the front of the school as all of the other doors will be locked and there will be no staff to help children get off their car or enter the building. Tardy bell rings at 7:30 am and classroom instruction begins promptly at this time.
