Happy February! This is a great month to celebrate kindness, caring, and our love for all things education. Make sure to take time to practice self-care so that you may continue to support others.
The main things we have on tap for this month are our continued Science of Teaching Reading courses in partnership with Side-By-Side Consulting and our Leadership Book Study. It isn't too late to join in on these. The SOR sessions have been recorded thus far, so new participants can see what they have missed if they feel it is helpful.

- No Cost For NW MT Co-Op Members
- Non-Co-Op Members are welcome for a course fee of $25 per each two-hour session or $150 for all 8 sessions.
- Up to sixteen (16) OPI renewal units
- May be taken for college credit for $135 (includes additional course materials)
This comprehensive, 8-part training series, presented by Side-By-Side Consulting, will empower educators to understand the what, why, and how of evidence-based reading instruction in foundational reading skills, so that they can better meet the varied needs of the students they serve. (see attached flyer and introductory video for more information).
RECALIBRATE: Book Club for School Leaders
School Principals, Superintendents, and others in leadership roles will read and discuss Jimmy Casas new book "
Recalibrate the Culture". The club will meet at the following times:
Ch. 1 & 2: January 30th-4:00-5:00 (complete)
Ch. 3 & 4: February 13th-4:00-5:00
Ch. 5 & 6: February 27th-4:00-5:00
Three OPI renewal units will be available.
