GO THUNDER!
Our Boosters need your help!
WNHS Booster is always looking for volunteers to work the concession stand during sporting events.
It takes over 20 volunteers to staff various spots at home football games, at least 6 for weekly volleyball games, and a bit more for Saturday volleyball tournaments. We are asking each parent to volunteer at least 2-3 times in the season.
As always, you will never be asked to stay to help while your athlete is playing. We have concession times for both fresh/soph and varsity. Varsity families come a bit earlier before your child’s games and fresh/soph families stay a little after your athlete plays to help with varsity games. Students can also volunteer to get their required service hours.
If we don’t get volunteers to sign up than we would have no choice but to close concession during that time.
To sign up please go to our website: https://www.wnhsboosterclub.org/

PSAT is OCTOBER 16, next Wednesday, for all JUNIORS.....
If you are the parent of a testing student, please be sure that they have had something to eat before they come to school. Students will need a calculator for use on the test as we do not provide those for the students.
This is a great opportunity to identify areas of growth for students before they take the required SAT in April. Students must be classified as a Junior in order to take the test. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our offices.
Our next Drama Production is coming soon......

Information about our 2 Hour Weather Delayed Schedule
Last Spring, District 200 surveyed parents on their preferences regarding implementing delayed-start days because of inclement weather in the event that weather conditions are expected to subside enough for students to be safely transported to school. We thank parents for their input.
The majority of parents surveyed supported the decision, and District 200 has decided to use the two-hour delayed start policy during the 2019-2020 school year. Families will be notified in the same manner as a school cancelation. Emergency days taken with the two-hour delay as opposed to canceling a full day will not be made up at the end of the school year.
Busses will pick up 2 hours later than normally scheduled pickups.
Schools will start at the following times:
Greenwood, Mary Endres, Westwood 9:30 am
Dean, Olson, Prairiewood 9:40 am
Clay 10:15 am
Woodstock High School, Woodstock North High School 10:20 am
Creekside, Northwood, Verda Dierzen 10:30 am
All schools will dismiss at the normally scheduled time.
Woodstock High School, Woodstock North High School 10:20 am
