Conrady Parent Update
May 18, 2020
End of Year Reminders
Parents were instrumental in making our virtual graduation a success and we thank them for their efforts. Parents are also an integral part in keeping 6th and 7th Grade students on track as we move toward the last day of school on May 28, 2020.

Class of 2020 (Virtual Graduation)
With upwards of 370 potential Class of 2020 graduates, Conrady teachers and staff certainly had their work cut out for them when they decided to host a virtual graduation last week. But the results were pretty fantastic. Students wore their cap and gown and were dropped off by the Activity Entrance and then were escorted by a staff member (wearing masks and practicing social distancing) through a series of photo ops and a virtual graduation ceremony that was videotaped. Students then got a chance to clean out lockers, turn in library books and then emerge at the front of the building to applause from well-wishers. Congratulations Class of 2020. It is certainly something we will never forget.
National Art Honor Society News
Conrady art students have been making an impression all year, with school-wide exhibits and entries in community art shows. NAHS students Marietta and Tamera Farraj also had an article published in the Spring edition of the NAHS News! You can find the link to the article about the group and Art Teacher Kristin Brudsisz' efforts to expand the reach of art below.
Conrady 8th Grade Parade
Teachers and staff took to the streets recently to salute the Class of 2020. Here are some snapshots from the parade. Thanks to all who participated and the many supporters who came out to greet them.
