Mobile Food Pantry this Friday (1/8/21)
Friday Center Community Mobile Pantry
The Center Education Foundation, in partnership with Harvesters and the Center School District is hosting a mobile food pantry. Once a month Harvesters will bring a semi-truck trailer full of fresh produce to the Center School District’s Warehouse at 8701 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131. There is no cost, and the pantry is available for all in need.
Time and Dates: Every second Friday, vehicles may start lining up at 11:30 a.m.

Players 58 complies with COVID restrictions by producing a Radio Show
Congratulations to CHS Debaters at DKC City Championships
Please congratulate our Center High School Debaters E’lon Freeman and Damarion Mitchell who won 2nd Place JV Policy Debate Team and E’lon won 2nd Place JV Speaker Award at the annual Debate Kansas City Championships tournament the weekend of December 12, 2020.
We are very proud of our Yellowjacket team! There is more to come next semester so stay tuned.
HERNDON AND SUMMIT TECH SIGN UP FOR SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS
Registration for Summit Technology Academy and Herndon Career Center is now open. Please click on the following links to explore the programs and requirements. Note that some programs are grade specific. Some require fees. For all programs student attendance must be at 95% or higher and appropriate GPA. After exploring the sites, if you wish to fill out an application, please do so.

Seniors - Plan now to get your vaccinations for college next year
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that College / University students have already received 2 doses of the MMR, which is the vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella, in which they should have already received as a child. Most Colleges/Universities, in addition to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also require full vaccinations, specifically for students who are living on campus. These full vaccinations are as follows:
- Meningoccal (Meningitis),
- Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap booster),
- HPV and
