Free Pandemic Parenting Online Summitt. Parenting is hard, especially when we don't have the supports and information we need to better understand our growing children.
And nothing has made this more apparent than trying to parent during a pandemic!

Taking Care of Ourselves Tool Kit. Taking Care of Ourselves and Others: A COVID-19 Guide for Youth and Families. Created by Multnomah County students, parents, and public health communicators, this new toolkit uniquely empowers youth and families to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes tips on dealing with peer pressure, conversation starters for family members who may not be following COVID-19 precautions, information on where and how to get tested, mental and physical health resources as well as strategies for safer socializing and general prevention guidelines.
Lines for Life Educator Wellness and new Parent Wellness Rooms. Flyer for Educator & Parent Wellness Rooms. Lines for Life through its Helpers Helping Helper’s programming has launched a variety of “wellness room” spaces on Zoom for folks to attend freely and seek support, share resources, and overall sit together in the community during the pandemic. This is a statewide and FREE resource that is meant to support – please spread the word!
Some Wellness Rooms are also available in Spanish.

Parent Wellness Room: Thursdays at 3 pm.
April’s Life Skill is Community. Every month we teach and support a different Life Skill with students. April's Life Skill is community. As an African proverb says, “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” So, please encourage your student to support one another and our Coyote community with their actions because, at Powell Butte, we are a Caring Community with Integrity, Equity, Empathy, and Respect.
In-Person Learning starts at 8:50 AM. Please remember that In-Person Learning starts at 8:50 AM on your student's In-Person Cohort Day.

Packet/School Supplies and Student Lunch/Breakfast Distribution will be on Wednesday, April 21th, from 11:30-1:30 PM. You can also pick up packets/supplies, get a Chromebook, and exchange a Chromebook from 12:30 PM to 4 PM (M,T, TH,F) and on Wednesday from 8 AM to 4 PM) in the Powell Butte Office.

Fran Bakery School-Wide Virtual Field Trip on Wednesday, April 28th. Please join us for our Powell Butte Fran Bakery School-Wide Virtual Field Trip on Wednesday, April 28th, from 11:30-12 PM. All PB students are welcome to log on and enjoy this great Fieldtrip experience.
