Kirk Fenton News
23rd November 2018
Dear Parents / Carers,
I have been incredibly proud of our children across school this week. Our Year 6 house captains were respectful, polite and knowledgeable as they showed prospective parents around school for our open days. It was clear to see how proud they are of their school. Year Five worked well as a team in the woods this week and produced some wonderful learning whilst developing their resilience and our Year One children took part in the area Cross Country competition and every child persevered to complete the course with a smile on their faces. Well done to you all!
As we approach December, plans are well underway for our Christmas Fair. If you could manage to give some of your precious time to help out on the day I'm sure the committee would be very grateful. All the children in our school benefit from the funds raised at these events so please do get involved. You can either get in touch with the committee to volunteer or contact the school office and we will pass on your details. Thank you in advance.
Have a lovely weekend and wrap up warm!

Y1 Cross Country
We are very proud of all the children in Y1 who went to South Milford Primary School to take part in the annual cross country event. Everyone completed the course, despite the cold damp weather, showing fantastic perseverance and enthusiasm. A special 'well done' to Sienna Miller who won the girl's race.
Thank you to all the parents who helped make it possible for all of Y1 to attend - your support is much appreciated.
