What an amazing way to start the 22-23 school year! Seeing our kids enter school with such excitement on Wednesday and then to see parents join us for Back To School Night right off the bat on Thursday was a fantastic way to start the year. Thank you to all the parents who joined us for Back To School Night.

I can't emphasize enough how important the partnership between school and home is, and that partnership starts with school-to-home communications. Please make sure that you sign up for Bloomz through your child's teacher and that you also make sure your contact information is accurate in Powerschool so you can get schoolwide communication as well. Below there will be information on how to receive text updates from the school, make sure you sign up for that as well.

This will be our first full week of school. A reminder that I will put out periodically through the year is that all Mondays are minimum days. All students are released at 1:20 on minimum days. This means two things. First, our parking lot will be a bit busier than normal with all classes getting out at the same time so please be patient. Second, we do not have staff to hold on to students for long after school. So if you forget to pick up your child we will be calling home quickly for pick-up. Please mark in your calendar that all Mondays are minimum days.

It's going to be a great first full week of school!! Remember this may be a week where your child is exhausted by the end because it will be longer than last week. Be patient, and let's make it a great week!
