Program Fee
- Program fee for the year is due ASAP. This fee allows us to continue bringing great assemblies and programs that the students enjoy and that enrich their school experience. The program fee model enables us to streamline the financial and volunteer commitments for families. Forms were sent home in your childs backpacks but you can also find them here https://dtspie.com/support-pie-donate. The recommended donation of $75/student has been adjusted to reflect our current goals for programming.
Monthly Meetings
Please join us for our first meeting of the school year on September 28th at 7 p.m. in the school’s Performing Arts Room (PAR). We will be voting on our budget for the year (see attachment), so, please come on out.
- We’ve changed the meeting dates to generally not be back to back with the Board of Education hoping this might make it easier to attend meetings.
- Meeting dates for the year are: 9/28, 10/12, 11/16, 12/14 (if necessary), 1/11, 2/8, 3/8, 4/5, & 5/10 (at 7 p.m.). All are planned to be in person unless there is demand or a need to switch to virtual.
Homeroom Parents
- Interested in being a HR partner for the 2022-23 school year? There are still openings for Maltese, Wheatley and 8th grade.
- If you are able to fulfill the responsibilities, please email (elizhermoso@gmail.com) our HR Partner Chair Liz Hermoso with the Homeroom teacher (elementary) or grade level (middle) your child has that you want to represent, your name, and contact information. Where there are multiple submissions for the same HR or grade, a selection will be made randomly from the names submitted.
Book Fair
- Book fair is an exciting experience for the students. They all enjoy coming to pick out books to purchase. Letting children pick out their own books encourages them to read more. We need volunteers to help make this year's book fair successful. Follow the link to sign up to volunteer. www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084eafa92aa3f85-book
ShopRite Gift Card Program
- Do you shop at ShopRite? Help us earn money all year long by simply buying gift cards from PiE. Register for your increment using the form found here: https://dtspie.com/support-pie-donate/
- How it works - you register using the form, each month, you will receive the gift card increment (for example $100), and then you write a check to PiE for the $100. Super simple and if you shop at ShopRite, it doesn’t cost you anything more or less!!
- PiE makes 5% on every gift card purchase so that same $100, earns PiE $5.
Amazon Smile & Shutterfly
- Do you already shop at Amazon or Shutterfly? For information on how you can link to PiE and PiE will earn funds from your purchases go to this link: https://dtspie.com/amazon-smiles/
Volunteer
- Want to volunteer this year? Please fill out our PiE Volunteer Form so we can reach out as events come up.
