Please check in at the front entrance and you will be given your session schedule - Session 1 will be from 6 pm-6.30 pm and Session 2 will begin at 6.45 pm.
Remember that Ms. Suzy, our Library Clerk, has been handing out book bucks for every book our students have brought in for the Book Exchange, these book bucks can be redeemed at the Book Exchange from 5.30 pm - 6 pm.
FFO CORNER
March General Meeting - AM and PM
Please join us for our next General Meeting on March 19 at 8:30am. Our guest speaker will be Mary Setliff, Principal at Esperero Middle School, who will share on how to help students transition into middle school.
Do you wish you could attend an FFO meeting, but can't make morning meetings? Please join us for a special evening meeting on March 19 at 6pm. Mary Setliff will only be at the morning meeting, however you'll be able to learn about other happenings at our school and what we're planning next.
Pastries with Parents
Fifth graders and their parents are welcome to join us for a special breakfast on March 19 at 7:30am. This will be a chance to connect with other fifth grade parents and students.
Mathathon Update
The Mathathon is next week! Please turn in your pledge sheets, and continue getting pledges so we can meet our goal. This year's Mathathon donations will enable us to purchase new instruments and equipment for the music room, sewing machines for the art room, new PE equipment, and fund an Author Visit!
Extra pledge sheets are available in the office, or you can direct friends and family to Pledgestar. https://pledgestar.com/ventantavistamath/
Currently Mrs. Guerrera's kindergarten class is in the lead for top earning class. The prize is a pizza party and $100 towards a classroom item chosen by the students and teacher. If we reach our school goal, all students will earn Eegee's! Plus students who return their pledge sheets will be entered into the Minute to Win It Challenge! Our goal is 100% participation across the school. It doesn't matter if you raise $5 or $500, because together we can accomplish great things!
Thank you to our volunteers who have been quizzing students at lunch and passing out Mathathon stickers. Our students have really enjoyed this interaction and getting those stickers!
