Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless. —Jamie Paolinetti
Hey Tot Spot Family,
We love Snow!! So on days that we are in the clear to go outside, we will be out for at least 5-10 minutes. Please make sure to bring in hats, gloves, coats, and boots if you have them. Also make sure there is always a backup outfit in case we make snow angels or get our clothes too wet. Thank you :)

In the Classroom!
The Smalls
The Junior Scouts & Stuart Littles
This month we will be working on using gentle hands with our friends. We will be continuing with color and shape recognition and reviewing our letter friends. We are excited about our future art, sensory and science projects. We have a lot to be thankful for this month! Don't forget ornaments with grandparents is coming up so let them know so we can start getting a head count.
The Scouts & Stuarts
This month we are working on using our listening ears and following our daily routine. We will be continuing reviewing all our shapes and starting to work on letter and number recognition. We have started putting together our names at table time and learning what each letter is. We will be doing some super cool experiments, art work, and sensory activities.
Sawyers
Happy Holidays!! The month we will be doing lots of festive things for the holidays!! We will be working a lot on fine motor and getting back in gear for preschool first goals!! We are still continuing to work hard on taking care of our classroom and putting items away when we are done playing with them. We're also doing a big push on using are math terms this month along with washing our hands and sneezing/coughing into our elbows. They have been doing pretty awesome with their listening ears and following directions. This month, we will have several fun experiments and open ended art activities.

Healthy Start Wisdom
Healthy Start
Miss Leandra's favorite dish for Thankgiving is Fresh Green beans!! She loves to cook green beans with bacon but that's not so healthy unfortunately. She found this recipe that she is super excited to try this Thanksgiving. Green beans and cheddar...what could be better?

The Parent's Spotlight!
Would you like to donate?
We could use:
- Glitter glue
- Scrap paper
Is there ever a time when you say to youreself, " I wonder if The Tot Spot would want this"? We could use it in so many ways. You may have babies, but the whole school is yours. Everything can turn into a sensory activity or learning experience. So, before you throw out your junk, ask your teacher if it could be used.
The Teacher's Spotlight!
What is your favorite piece of useless trivia and why?
Ms. LeAndra: The blue-green hue of Ariel's fin was specially mixed by the Disney paint lab and they called the new color "Ariel" in her honor. Ariel is my favorite princess, so I think it's neat there's a color named after her.
Ms. Corrine: Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
Ms. Emily: I don’t think I really have one. Sorry!
Ms. Jacanda: Kevin Clash is the voice of Elmo
Mr. Mike: I’m just full of useless trivia
Ms. Stacey: Mayfly's have a 4-stage life cycle and a life span of 24 hours.
Ms. Danielle: I’m a trivia nut. Like actor/actresses. My family has a game and we sit there going back and forth naming two actors and you have to name the movie they appeared in together, or how they’re connected. So, you’d say how are Brad Pitt and Nicolas Cage connected? Brad Pitt was in Mr. and Ms. Smith with Angelina Jolie and Angelina Jolie was in Gone in 60 seconds with Nicolas Cage.
Ms. Crystal: The fact that the government hires people to help push their agenda in ways that benefit them. I love that piece of trivia because it shows us that not everything we’re taught in school is the complete truth and if you want to know something, research for yourself.
Mr. Andy: Too hard to choose. 90% of my brain is useless trivia...
Ms. Maggie: My favorite piece of useless trivia is that the Los Angeles Rams Coach Sean McVay is the youngest coach in NFL history.
Ms. Mikayla: The loose lint found in your pockets is called gnurr.
Ms. Katie: Hippopotamus milk is pink.
Ms. Hailey: I don’t think I know any useless trivia
Ms. Ericka: You can't taste food without saliva. Thank God for our spit!
Ms. Erin: Elvis never performed a single encore, so when he left, he wasn't coming back. Hence the phrase "Elvis has left the building."
Ms. Alisha: Pass.
Ms. Allison: Narwhals are real, even if my husband isn't convinced. They live year-round in the Arctic waters around Greenland, Canada, and Russia.
