CCA is excited to provide an opportunity to collect feedback from you regarding our teachers and the school environment. The Teacher Feedback data is used to provide feedback to teachers and is part of their performance evaluation done by the Executive Director and Assistant Principals. The Climate portion of the survey contains questions about the CCA administration team, school communication, academic instruction, school safety, and other aspects of the CCA environment. Responses from the Climate portion are reviewed by the School Accountability Committee, CCA administration, and the CCA Parent Board to guide future improvements to our school. The survey should not take longer than 20 minutes to complete. In exchange for your feedback, you are allowed to enter 2 hours of volunteer time. As a parent-involved charter school, this is your chance to help provide both positive and constructive feedback for CCA teachers, the administration, and the Parent Board. Note that the survey is intended to be filled out by parents, not students. Also note that the survey is designed to track trends across multiple years, and because we are hopeful the pandemic will not impact future school years, there are no pandemic-specific questions in the survey. Comments and concerns pertaining to the pandemic and related issues can be addressed directly to Ann Schultz (aschultz@cherrycreekacademy.org) and/or the CCA Parent Board (board@cherrycreekacademy.org).

We need your help, we are looking for a Recess/Lunchroom Supervisor to work with us here at CCA! Instead of volunteering, you could come and join the team! We recently had a delay due to snow - did you get notified via email or text? If not, you will want to go into your my.cherrycreek account and update your parent forms with the correct information.

We also will have an upcoming election and you will ONLY receive your ballot via your email entered in powerschool, (that comes from your parent forms) so please make sure this is the correct email address.

Each year we do a graduation video featuring your child and we need your help collecting images for that video. Please fill out this short google form about your graduating 8th grader where you will submit 1 baby/toddler photo and 1 current photo of your student for the video. Thank you in advance for helping us celebrate your children!

In accordance with CCSD and new Colorado legislation, we will be following these new guidelines put in place for volunteers/visitors at the school. Please always have your idea ready and with you when coming to the school. We appreciate your help with this and thank you for your understanding and patience.

The safety of our students and staff and the security of our schools is always our highest priority. We want to let you know that next month we will be updating our school visitor and volunteer procedures, as required by new Colorado legislation. School visitors and volunteers will be required to complete a brief application which will be linked to the Raptor Visitor ID System. You will only have to complete this form once per school year.

In January, you will receive specific information from your child’s school about these new visitor and volunteer procedures. Thank you for your partnership in keeping our students and staff safe!

COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11: The FDA and CDC have approved the Pfizer Pediatric COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. CCSD will host several vaccine clinics for families who choose to vaccinate their children. These clinics will offer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine doses, COVID-19 vaccines for those 12 years and older and COVID-19 vaccine boosters. Some clinics will also offer flu shots. COVID-19 testing: No-cost COVID-19 testing is available at the COVIDCheck Colorado testing site at the Instructional Support Facility, located at 5416 S. Riviera Way.
