Periment
A periment is a legaly signed document by the goverment. The periment is where you have to pay for the goverment to get htis periment and and the findings of gold you get to keep. There were many Chinese as in China you the gold went straight to the royal family.That is why so many chinese came to Australia to hun for gold.
Women on the Goldfields
The women on the goldfields had it tough because they had to cook,clean and had to to put up with the fact that the were left at home it was very tough times for women.
Chinese on the Goldfields
Chinese also had it tough on the goldfields they came for gold but the Europeans ruled them out because of the way dressed the way they ate and acted.This mad it tough for the chinese.
Pan
On of the ways to dig for gold.This tool is used for digging for gold in the river.
Cradle
This is another way to dig for gold.You use a shovel and pick to dig upthe dirt and rock and put in in the top and then rock the cradle side to side and soon the specs of gold will fall throudh leaving the dirt and rocks at the top and big bits of gold.
Windlass
Windlass is where there is a bucket the is connected to a rope which is connected to a pole and a windlass helps bring big heavy bucket full of earth to then put through the cradle.
Life on the Goldfields
Over all life ont he goldfields was very tough for they had to pay a hard price to mine they had to supply food for themselve and they lived under horrible conditions.This made it hard to do a thing how they survived amazed me.
