Don's SURPRISE 50th Birthday
It's a SURPRISE
When I was young...
Donald Irvin Kirzinger was born August 30, 1963 on a farm near Englefeld, SK. Don was the youngest of 9 children born to Elizabeth and Robert Kirzinger. When Don was young he worked on the farm "from 5 in the morning until late at night" milking cows and being attacked by chickens. Don attended school in Englefeld. He had to walk to school 10 miles. In the snow. Uphill both ways. For fun, Don was allowed and encouraged to shoot at neighboring teens who tried to syphon gas from the Kirzinger's barrel. He also liked shooting magpies, ducks and deer. He worked hard, and sometimes if he was lucky he was allowed to take the car to town for the evening. Don now enjoys fishing, hanging out at the cabin, long walks on the beach and doing some occasional mid-life crisis purchasing.
