Spring Falls

Spring Falls
Spring Falls is like a utopia. But, it isn't a utopia. There is no war. Everyone is also free. We only have one ruler and the people vote on whose our leader. The people choose on which philosopher to vote for, so they can become the leader. We hunt, fish, make clothes out of fur, we make medicine and candies out of the honey or herbs we find, we take showers in the water falls, we get our fresh water out of the streams on the other side of us and we built our homes around the trees. We got the name Spring Falls from the water falls and streams around us and it is always warm. We also trade with other civilizations around us. One more thing about us, we are monotheistic.
Name of Region
The name of region is the rain forest in South America. It is also called Spring Falls. Out here we trade with other civilizations that live in the rain forest like us. We get many visitors too!

Famous Landmarks
We have many famous landmarks! The first famous land mark was the first building ever built. It is called government in the trees. This building was built in the trees in the 1900's. Government meetings still take place in that building. A second famous landmark is called Spring Falls Waterfalls. This is where we have our religious ceremonies to pray to our one God. The third famous landmark is called the Squgi Tree. This is where all of the kids gather for two ours a day for learning how to read, write and hear stories about how our civilizations came to be and stories about our God.
Jobs/Responsibilities of Women and Girls
The women would be at home cooking, cleaning, or going down to the stream to collect water. Women would or could also be working in the fields to plant and collect crops with their husbands. When women were done with their everyday jobs, they would go over to the waterfalls and pick up leftover things from ceremonies and parties. Girls main responsibilities was going to school for half a day and earning an education. When they got home from school they help their mothers with their jobs.

Jobs/Responsibilities of Men and Boys
The men would either work for the government, fishing, become a priest, build homes, work in the fields as farmers or teach at the school or the tree. Those were most of the men's options. If they worked in the fields as farmers, then they were most likely going to be working with their wife or son if they had a son or wife. When the boys came home from school they would immediately go work in the fields with their mom and dad. If they were little, they would stay at home with their sister. If they didn't have a sister they would stay at school and hear many stories until they fell asleep. When they fall asleep they will be watched until someone comes to get them at the end of the day.

Terrain/Enviroment
My civilization was started in the rain forest on the coast of South America. This environment can in some ways be dangerous. This is because of predators, deadly snakes, deadly spiders and insects and storms or natural disasters. In case of storms or natural disasters, we have built a cave out of stone and mud underground to protect our selves. However our environment is perfect too! Its the rain forest, one of the most beautiful places on earth! We also have very nice climate. This climate consists of a lot of sun, a lot of rain, and warmth. Meaning it is always warm. The rain is most important because the rain falls into the stream, giving us a lot more freshwater. It is beautiful in the rain forest!
Government
The government has a lot to it. First what kind of government are we? We are a direct democracy. Ask yourself. What is a direct democracy? A direct democracy is where everyone votes on who becomes leader. This is our type of government because we want everyone to be equal and we want everyone to have a chance! We base all of our jobs off of how old you are. We also have a very strong government because we started the rules when our civilization first started. We have four main rules. No voting more than once. All kids must go to school. Everyone must come to the ceremonies. All children must respect and obey their parents. Our government will stay like this forever!
Religion
Our religion is monotheistic. Meaning we believe in only one God. Every two days we have a religious ceremony, to pray. Our religious symbol is the cross and the fish. Since our community is so committed to our religion, every kid must learn about their religion for one hour every two days. Our gods name is God. We pray everyday!

Famous People/Leaders
One famous leader is I, Abigail Pfluke. I am a famous leader because I was the founder of our civilization. Because of me, people worship me as well. There is a statue representing me in our town. Our second famous person is Father Squgi. Father Squgi is a famous person because he leads us through all of our ceremonies and he prays with the kids at the tree. That is why the tree is named after him. There is also a statue representing him in the town. Our last famous leader and co-founder of our civilization is Tyra Rae. She is a famous leader because she helped make my dream come true. That is why she has a statue representing her in the town too.
Traditional Clothing
Our consists of animal skins and leather. We trade the animal skins for leather. Our main wardrobe for men is leather shorts and an animal skin for a shirt of they go shirt less. Their sandals are also made out of leather. Same goes for women and children.
My Civilization
My civilization is famous for our waterfall and animal skins. We have all different kinds of animal skins like snake, lion, etc. We are also famous for our beautiful waterfalls that are all around us. Some of our waterfalls light up at night. At night we usually have our religious ceremonies because it is so beautiful. Sometimes when people come around they don't want to leave because it is so beautiful, clean, and religious. Our civilization is AMAZING!
