Fun events for LGBTQ Youth and their allies under 25!

Once upon a pride!

The Youth Project is a non-profit organization providing education, support and resources to LGBTQ youth. We have a range of events coming up for Pride week! All events are drug- and alcohol-free, and open to LGBTQ youth and their allies under aged 25 (except the Youth Pride Dance, which is for youth 19 and under). Join us and celebrate pride!

Pride Kick-Off Barbeque!

We are having a BBQ to kick off Pride Week! Join us for some free snacks, drinks and check out the rest of the stuff happening for Pride Week! We'll have some crafts and games, make your own Pride Week swag or hang out and chat in our fancy new back yard!

Join for a YP Pride Week favourite: The YP Coffee House and Talent Show! Show us your talent or sit back and listen to the varied performances of LGBTQ & allied youth as we celebrate Pride! Got a talent? Sign up the day of and let us see it!

Break out the rainbows - we're dancing under the stars for Pride Week with a Youth Pride Dance! The YP & Halifax Pride are bringing you the first dance for LGBTQ youth and their allies 19 and under. DJ provided by the music masters of C100 and with an appearance from C100's JAX!

And it's free!

We'll have a DJ provided by the music masters at C100 and an appearance from C100's JAX! Drinks & snacks provided. This is your chance to dance the night away in a safe space - outdoors!

Make some fun Pride stuff for the parade or help us build the float decorations as we sail through the parade in style!

ALL YOUTH ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US ON THE FLOAT ON SATURDAY. We have music! This time it won't cut out!
