Sunset Valley Holiday Assistance

Dear Sunset Valley Families,

Our Sunset Valley family and community has always been amazing! The holiday season is a time we can continue to work together for our SVE students! There are many families in need of assistance, especially during the holidays.

Last school year, at this time, we were virtual. We decided to try to match up our “Adopt A Family” helpers with our students and families in need. It worked out beautifully. In years past we asked for students to decorate envelopes and add a donation for our families. It is wonderful to see the students excited about giving. This school year we would like to do both. Therefore, we are asking if you would like to Adopt A Family, please fill out this google form If you are a family in need, please fill out this form: Holiday Assistance. The students will also bring home a small envelope to decorate with pictures and or words of their gratitude. We are asking for small donations, (coins, dollars, or checks payable to SVE) to be returned in their decorated envelopes. The envelopes will then be displayed to show our gratitude on our Word Wall.

Please return/complete the decorated envelopes, Adopt A family google form, or Wishlist form by Wednesday, December 1st.

If you have any questions, please contact jodi.mahurin@lsr7.net or call 816-986-4246.

Sincerely,

Jodi Mahurin, School Counselor
