SUMMARY OF THE BOOK
The International Movement for the Safety and Protection of Our Kids and Youth (IMSPOOKY) say that eleven year old Seymour Hope cannot live in the mansion without his parents. Mr. Grumply tries to convince Dick Tater (the head of IMSPOOKY) that they are in a perfect family, with the agreement of Olive the ghost that lives on the mansion. But Dick Tater does not believe that. Grumply is sent to the home for the deranged, Seymour is sent to an orphanage, and the plan to dig out Olives body.
SETTING
One of the settings takes place in an orphanage where Seymour Hope stays and plans to escape from the orphanage.
PROTAGONIST- SEYMOUR HOPE
Seymour Hope js eleven years old and lives in a mansion with a ghost named Olive and a writer named Mr. Grumply. Seymour Hope fets ent to an orphanage by Dick Tater.
ANTAGONIST- DICK TATER
Dick Tater is the head of IMSPOOKY. He does not believe that the ghost named Olive lives in the mansion so, he takes Mr. Grumply and Seymour Hope and seperates them.
POINT OF VIEW
Type of point of view- the point of view is first person
Whose point of view- every ones because the characters in the book write letters to other people.
CONFLICT
Character VS. Society
It is Character VS. Society because Seymour is sent to an orphanage, Mr. Grumply is sent to the home for the deranged, and Olive is not believed in.
