PSAT
Our 8th graders will be taking the PSAT on October 20. This is a tool used to prepare for high school. It is used to guide students in AP classes, Magnet program options, and other high school and college opportunitities.
Students of the Month
Each month, we will students of the month. These students will be selected by their teachers for exhibiting what we call "The Woodland Way." The Woodland Way means good character, good grades, and good behavior. We will have a recognition time each month to celebrate these students. Our SOM recognition will be on Thursday, October 27 at 9:00 am in the Media Center. Parents of students being recognized will be notified and invited to attend.

STEM SHOWCASE #2
Our next STEM showcase is coming up. Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 15, 2022. We are excited about our 2nd Showcase. We are working hard to achieve State STEM Certification this year.

Morning drop off: Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:30 am
Students will go straight to the gym or the cafeteria when they arrive at school.

Carpool at Arrival/Dismissal
- We ask that you maintain no more than a 15 mph speed limit.
- Also, please do not allow your child to leave or enter your car until you reach the designated crosswalk area right in front of the main entrance.
- We maintain two lanes in the drive-through for carpool.
- We keep the middle lane clear for safety purposes.
