On Thursday, your Husky will bring home his/her report card. If you have an older Husky student, please ask them specifically for their card, as our 5th-8th graders have a tendency to not get important papers home! This is a great time to talk with your child/ren about the value of education and good character. We have LOTS of honor roll students, which makes us so proud! We appreciate your partnership in your child's educational journey. Dare to be remarkable!

Dismissal Etiquette

Our staff works very hard to make the dismissal process run as smoothly as possible. Please refrain from parking in the gravel driveway just east of Holly Academy, on Academy Road. That gravel driveway is private property and we would like to remain good neighbors with the current owners. Also, the gravel parking lot on the east side of the building is for teachers only. Parents may not park in that lot to avoid the dismissal lanes. Let's be models of Husky Pride! Thank you for your cooperation!

Save the Date

Calling all veterans and active military members! Holly Academy would like to honor our family and community members who are active or who served in our military. This includes parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings, etc. We don’t want anyone to miss out on this recognition. If you have an affiliation with a veterans' organization, spread the word!

Please plan on joining us the morning of Thursday, November 11th, beginning at 8:00am. Our school family will line up outdoors and invite service members and their students to participate in a walk-through. Coffee and donuts will follow for our honorees. Please consider joining us that day so we can thank you deservingly!

Complete the survey below if you are a veteran or have a veteran who would like to attend. Power of the Pack!

Hello Husky Families!

As you know from last week's newsletter, my name is Shaun Kovatch, and come to you with 21 years of diverse experience in a variety of roles. After the first week of 'learning the ropes,' it is evident how dedicated the HA staff is in creating a safe and caring environment for your child/ren while emphasizing the importance of academic and behavioral success. I am looking forward to supporting this through two values I hold in high regards: integrity and accountability. I am honored to be invited to be a part of the Husky family and look forward to working with you and your child/ren.
