Parent Involvement Opportunities

This month is full of opportunities for you to be involved. Join us the week of October 4-8 for student led conferences. If you have not signed up for at time, please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible. There are also evening appointments available on Tuesday, October 5.

On Tuesday, October 26 we will have our Spooky Math Night. Join us to play lots of fun games as well as candy and more fun!

Communities in Schools

My name is Ronte Crump and I am the site coordinator for Communities in Schools at Alta Vista. CIS is currently accepting new students to join our program. CIS helps students with academic support, social and emotional skills, and leadership opportunities. We have launched our mentorship groups Girl Code and Boys to Men for 3rd-5th graders. Math Chat

Looking for ways for your students to practice math at home? All Kindergarten through 5th grade students have access to Imagine Math, an online learning program focused on math. Students can log into their Clever account to get into Imagine Math.
