Arctic Blast
Glacier Ridge Elementary School 01.22.21
Dear Glacier Ridge Families,
As we close out our two weeks with K-2 students in attendance; we are excited to welcome our 3-5 in-person students on Monday. As a reminder arrival drop off begins at 7:45. For dismissal, please have your name tag in your window at pickup to help us promptly dismiss your child. If you need a new tag let the office know and we can provide a new one. Lockers will be used but since we are not doing recess in the school yard snow pants will not be necessary. Also as before, all students will come home with lunch each day.
Have a great weekend and stay warm!
Mr. Jacobsen and Mrs. Reinhardt

Thank you from the American Red Cross - to our Glacier Ridge Community
The following is a thank you from the American Red Cross in response to the blood drive held January 9th at Glacier Ridge.
You may be interested to know we collected a total of 321 units, which means up to 963 more lives may be saved. WOW! The year has just started, but this blood drive may be the 3rd largest in our IL region, and the 2nd largest in the Chicago area. Your support truly made a difference!
Please also extend our thanks to Miguel and Keith, the custodians who assisted us the day-of. They were wonderful to work with and extremely helpful.
