Ortega’s Oration
Dear Bryan High Community,
As we near the finish line on the 2021-2022 academic year, we are focused on making every day count in Bear Country!
· Our freshmen are working hard to earn all their credits and be on-track to graduate in four years. We expect 100% of our freshmen to meet this goal.
· Our sophomores are also working hard to attain all their credits and are expected to explore our advanced academic offerings as they select classes for next year.
· Our juniors have been completing practice ACT questions and have been preparing for the ACT exam. We expect our juniors to do their best on the ACT exam on April 5.
· Our seniors are hyper-focused on meeting all graduation and post high school requirements, including completing FAFSA, submitting college applications, and applying for scholarships. Our Senior Saturdays are back and are open to all seniors who want or need additional academic support. We expect all our seniors to graduate in four years and to be college or career ready.
Finally, I want to personally invite every one of you to our BIG 50 celebration on Sunday, May 1 from 1:00-4:00 PM. This celebration will commemorate our 50 years of educational excellence at Bryan Senior High and will be free and is open to all. We will have a variety of fun activities, entertainment, and cake and ice cream!
Thank you for your continued support and helping us make every remaining day count at Bryan Senior High!
