Veterans Address
For Veterans Day, our class will be writing a letter to a Veteran. We will be discussing the different branches of military, what veterans are and why we celebrate Veterans Day.
The first part of this assignment is to collect addresses of the veterans we are writing to. This can be to a family member, friend, neighbor, etc. If you do not know any Veterans, return this sheet stating that and I will find one for you.
Please return the blue page that was sent home on Monday. This is due by Wednesday, October 18.
Play
We have the opportunity to attend a play at RCTC Rochester. The play is Lions of Illyria, it is an animal fantasy. It is lighthearted, fun and silly, it is suitable for students in grades K-5. This will be a wonderful opportunity for all students to experience a live production. There is no cost for our students to attend the play, the Grand Meadow Education Foundation will pay for the admittance fee for all students.
Date: November 1
Depart time: 9:15
Return time: We will be back at school around 11:45.
