Choose Your Attitude
We have amazing TOIs here at Waterford. Everyday they impact student learning by supporting the instruction that is happening in our classrooms. The great attitudes they bring to school each day is inspiring to see. Thanks for all you do for the teachers and students at Waterford.
Make Their Day
I would like to thank our cafeteria manager, Liz, for all of the efforts she puts forth in making our cafeteria run smoothly. She really has the kids best interests at heart and does her best to follow the set nutritional guidelines and provide good breakfasts and lunches for our students. The students love the fact that she has created a daily menu board. Each day they walk off the bus, they can see what they are having for breakfast and lunch. She is also spending extra time to provide 60 snacks for our IREAD Club members. Thanks Liz for making our students' days by proving a positive atmosphere in our cafeteria.
Be Present
Being present in our students' lives here at Waterford is very powerful. I am really excited about Rachel, Courtney, Jan, Lauren, and Kristy leading an after school program for our 4th and 5th grade girls titled "Girls on the Run". Beginning at the end of February, a number of girls will be meeting as members of this program. During these after school sessions, the above mentioned will be working with the girls to train for a 5k and will be teaching the girls about what it means to have a positive self image. What a great way to be present in our students lives here at Waterford!!
Play
There has been a lot of fun laughter and good natured ribbing this week at the expense of Randy. He has had trouble "Keeping his ducks in a row!"
