PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora koutou katoa, Talofa lava, Kia orana,
Well we have now officially entered Autumn, let's hope that we can have some fine warm days before we get into winter.
Good luck to all of the Seniors who are taking part in todays swimming sports. I wish you all the best, the children have come along prepared and ready to do well.
We will be continuing with swimming for as long as we can this season. We have organised for more Poolside sessions with the swimming coach. She has already had two sessions with us, one with the Seniors and one with the juniors. Lara has one tomorrow and then another 4 in the second to last week of March- weather permitting.

Orders will be taken and payment needs to be made before the photos are taken.
Reminder: This Friday, 3 March due to a meeting all teachers are required to attend, children will need to go home at 12:30pm please.
Carnival - Tuesday 14th March starting at 5:00 p.m. with our inter house Tabloid sports competition. This will be followed by the Year 6 fundraising stalls opening at 6:00.
Children will go home early at lunchtime, (12.30pm) and then come back at 5:00pm ready for the sports.
This is a family event so please come along and support us and have a thoroughly good time.

- emergency contacts changed?
- medical details?
Medical Reminders
IMPORTANT: Children are NOT to carry any form of medication in their bags etc (e.g. inhalers). All medication must be held in the office. Parents must complete a Medical Form to enable staff to administer medication.
We often have a few ‘bugs’ around the school.
· A common one is a nasty cough/flu type illness. Keep your children home if they have symptoms of this as it spreads easily.
· If your child has had vomiting or diarrhoea, they MUST stay home for 2 days after the last event. This illness definitely spreads quickly around the school.
· Headlice are always around so make sure that you check your child’s hair regularly (we suggest weekly) and treat the hair if necessary. We have treatments available from school for free. Just pop in and we can give you some.
· If your child is at all unwell, please keep them home so that they don’t pass bugs on to other children. Also if a child is feeling unwell they are not able to learn easily and are much better off at home snuggled up in bed.
Don’t forget to contact the school office to let us know when your child is unwell please.
