Registration Infomation
Online registration for returning students will open at 9 a.m. on the following days based on the beginning letter of the “registration parent’s” last name (the parent who is completing the registration process). Registration is done via the RDS Parent Access account. The link is available here:

- Tuesday, July 26, 2022: A – G only
- Wednesday, July 27, 2022: H – P (along with A-G)
- Thursday, July 28, 2022: Q – Z (along with A-P)
Online registration is for ALL RETURNING students including kindergarten & preschool students who pre-registered in the spring of 2022. An access code for RDS will be sent a few days before the window opens. New students, or students who were withdrawn at the end of the 2021-2022 school year, must follow new student procedures.
If you are moving over the summer, you must update your address before July 28. This can be done by visiting your child’s school and providing proof of address. If you submit a change of address after July 28, transportation will be available starting August 15.

Kindergarten Kickoff
August 2nd & 3rd from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
With some fun activities, students will become more familiar with school routines and classroom procedures. Kindergarten teachers, Principals, and other VIP staff members will be on hand to help welcome our littlest Wildcats! Activities we will practice include:
- Walking to/from the classroom for arrival and dismissal
- Opening lockers and hanging up belongings
- Visiting the restroom
- Moving through the lunch line
- Lining up and going out to recess

Popsicles on the Playground is a great opportunity to meet new friends and visit with old ones! Students and families will gather and mingle on the playground while enjoying an icy treat! Both principals will be on hand to welcome and greet families. Please note: this is not designed as a time to meet classroom teachers.

These are informal, meet-and-greet opportunities for students and parents to meet the teacher and visit the school prior to the first day. Parents and students may attend Open House.
Supply List
Supplies for elementary students are included in their annual registration/textbook fees. However, CPCSC elementary schools request that each student has the following:
- Backpack (no wheels, please)
- Pencil case
- Headphones/earbuds
- Chromebook case cover (strongly recommended, Chromebook dimensions are 12 x 9 inches)
Transportation
Bus Stop information will be available on Monday, August 8th.
Parents must create an account in order to look up their child's bus stop information.
Please have your students at their bus stop 10 minutes before the posted time. Bus times can change any day due to construction, weather, etc. The times posted in Bus Planner are estimates and are subject to change. Use this link here: FIND MY BUS STOP!

Redistricting 2022-2023
Redistricting - Later this year, CPCSC will begin a process to balance our schools’ enrollment numbers. The redistricting process has not started yet, but more information will be available at www.cps.k12.in.us/redistrict23.
Coffee and Conversation
Superintendent Dr. Terrill will be hosting community coffee talks at the Crown Point Library once a month through November. More information can be found at www.cps.k12.in.us/coffee.
