Greetings, Parents/Guardians!
Our school’s motto is “Building a Legacy that Fuels Our Future!” In the Reading/English Language Arts department, we will tailor our lessons to decipher what leaving a legacy is and what it should look like for our students. We are committed to developing their reading, writing, listening, speaking, and thinking skills through real-world experiences as they determine the legacy they want to leave.
In our department, students will engage in purposeful communication and critical thinking opportunities that will enhance their ability to understand the meaning of a complex text, express their ideas to a variety of audiences, and apply their learning in multiple situations. Our goal is to provide authentic lessons, high-quality instruction, and learning opportunities for students to evolve through our Portrait of the Graduate competencies.
To learn more about our Reading/English Language Arts department, please visit our website or contact our office.
Thank you,
RELA Team
