Dear Parents and Friends of SFCS,

I hope everyone is enjoying another beautiful weekend in the Lowcountry!

Please note that there is no school Friday for students as our teachers will be participating with the Biennial Diocesan Teachers' Education Conference. This year the teachers will be participating virtually.

I have included an updated Guidelines and Procedures for Preventing and Responding to Potential or Active COVID document below. The updates have been highlighted in yellow.

Right now we currently have 2 students that have tested positive for COVID-19 and 2 students who are close contacts. Thank you everyone for your diligent cooperation in following our guidelines.

I hope everyone has a great remainder to their weekend!

Sincerely in Christ,

Brian Pope

Check out all the great happenings in PreK with Mrs. Burke's newsletter below.

Kindergarten was blessed last week by God with sunshine, learning and so much fun this week! The highlight of their week was their Science Experiment where they turned liquid into a solid popsicle! Thursday was the perfect day to enjoy their Science treat outside. They have been preparing for Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Tuesday by reading books, writing and doing crafts connected to his stories. They are also making “Benjamin Boxes” with Mrs. Gloven, they are truly learning about the life of Jesus and how much He loves us!

1st Grade

The first graders have been very busy doing Lenten projects. They have been learning about the Stations of the Cross, and they made Stations of the Cross booklets. They all did a great job with their Lenten cross projects. They created crosses using different kinds of materials. All the crosses were beautiful. Great job First Grade!

2nd Grade

The Second Grade has been learning about the continent of Africa and as a culminating activity, they chose a favorite animal, created a silhouette, and wrote a personal poem about it. Aren't these WILD?
