WASHINGTON TO BENEFIT FROM BOND
On Tuesday, March 14, 2017 the Boise School District will hold a bond election to reinvest in our neighborhood schools and community with no increase in the current property tax rate.
For Washington Elementary School, passage of the bond will:
Include a historic remodel of Washington, including new cafeteria, physical education and performing arts spaces, all of which will help meet modern education standards and honor the rich history of the school while preserving an iconic neighborhood school ($5,481,687.00).

WASHINGTON STUDENTS TO BENEFIT FROM BOND AT JR. HIGH AND HIGH SCHOOL
On Tuesday, March 14, 2017 the Boise School District will hold a bond election to reinvest in our neighborhood schools and community with no increase in the current property tax rate.
Passage of the bond will improve schools that serve Washington students by:
Providing funding to address maintenance needs at North Junior High School such as flooring, fire safety, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, as well as a school office remodel ($3,117,200.00).
Remodeling Boise High’s Old Gym, plus the addition and improvement of Boise High’s performing arts classrooms, all of which will bring one of Boise High’s oldest building up to safe, modern standards ($15,300,000.00). In addition, funds will be provided to address ongoing maintenance needs at Boise High ($2,685,500.00).
Expansion of job training classrooms and community partnerships at Dennis Professional-Technical Education Center ($13,310,000.00).
