Holly El. Leadership Bulletin
A "Leader in Me" Lighthouse School "Let Our Light Shine"
June 13, 2016
A note from the Principal...
With the warm weather arriving we hope you have a great summer and are able to accomplish all of your summer goals. I want to encourage all of our students to Sharpen their Saw this summer.
As part of Sharpening your Saw, please come and visit us June 29, July 20 and August 10 this summer from 12:00-1:30. We will have teachers available to help students, summer book checkout, and the Computer Lab available for students to use educational programs. See flyer below.
Research has shown that summer reading is the single summer activity that is most strongly and consistently related to summer learning (Heyns, 1978). The Holly Township Library also offers a wonderful summer reading program with many great family activities. More information is included in this newsletter. Please encourage your child/ren to read frequently this summer. Again, we wish you a safe and eventful summer!
Sincerely, Ryan DeSana
