Thanks for everyone's help with BINGO! We raised over $9300!
Thank you to Chris Hannah and Nicole Sapello for a great Fine Arts Club performance yesterday!
Revised date: I and RS: A reminder that March is the LAST MONTH for new referrals. New referrals are not accepted after April 15th, since there is not enough time to evaluate interventions. If you have a student to refer, please do so now.
Please remember the Nurse's Office is closed from 1:50-2:50. Please send any students that need a nurse visit to the Main Office during this time.
CHARACTER CORNER
TECH TIP OF THE WEEK
Have you ever sat through a series of book reports or student presentations and watched the clock tick away as one student after another comes to the front of the room to give their report? Have you ever longed for a more efficient way to allow students to present their work? With flipped book reports, students simply record and post their presentations online, which can then be easily shared with family members and classmates. Click HERE for how to do Flipped Book Review.
Words of Wisdom
Success isn't about how much money you make. It's about the difference you make in people's lives.
~ Michelle Obama
There are times when we all want more, and there's nothing necessarily wrong with that. Sometimes it's a good thing if it means setting goals and attaining the things for which we work hard. When success is sought after at any cost and becomes all-consuming, it's time to stop and reevaluate what's truly important. True prosperity includes gratitude for all the good in our lives and the good we create for others. Isn't that what true wealth is really about? It's a good reminder in the classroom: No one is going to remember how expensive your shoes were, but they will remember how you made them feel.
With something to think about . . .
Remember to take care of yourself.
We often hear of creating gratitude journals. If that's something you can't commit to at this time, try a gratitude list in your head. Name five things you are grateful for each night before sleeping.
Happy Birthday!
