How To Do a Forward Roll
By: Miss. Furnell
Step 1
First, find a safe place to preform your forward roll. It should have nothing that can break nearby and padded mats on the floor.
Step 2
Next, stand with your feet together and your arms straight up, reaching for the sky.
Step 3
After that, touch the floor and bend your knees. You should be in a squat position.
Step 4
Then, tuck your head. Your chin should touch your chest and your eyes should be on your belly button.
Step 5
After your head is in the correct position, push off the ground with your feet. Keep your legs tucked in as you roll.
Step 6
Roll onto the back of your shoulders, NOT your head.
Step 7
Next, put your feet back on the ground and stay in the squat position to stand up. You may need your hands to help you do this.
Step 8
Finally, say "Ta Da" and put your arms straight up into the air.
