Reading (Written by, Lydia)
In reading we are working on story structure .Characters are the people in the story. The problem is what goes wrong. The setting is where the story takes place. The solution is how a problem was fixed. The conclusion is how the book ends. Some kids also started writing book reviews!
Book Reviews (Written by, Miss Tigges)

Math (Written by Cambria)
Dear mom and dad,
What we do at math is we do our math journal. Then we do our math goal. And we meet with the teacher. We also play XtraMath on the iPads.
Sincerely,
Cambria
Social Studies (Written by Nikita)
Today in Social Studies, we are learning about culture. Today we are going to the computer lab and we will bring our venn diagram with us. We are comparing and contrasting our cultures to our cultures.
Specials (Written by Jordan)
Specials have been going good. We have been learning a lot. In P.E., we have been learning about locomotors. These are things that help you move your body, like throwing is how you build your arm strength.
Persistence Activity!
2nd graders learn about showing PERSISTENCE when building a marshmallow and spaghetti tower.
All smiles for these two!
Ashlyn and Kooper keep those smiles shining during their time of being the "broken arm twins". :)
