Happy May!
We have a lot left to accomplish in this last month of school! State testing for third, fourth and fifth graders begins on May 9 and will last through May 15. Please ensure that your child gets adequate rest each evening, and is on time (no later than 8:30 a.m.) for school each morning. Once testing begins, they will not be allowed to enter the classroom. Anyone tardy or absent will have to test at a later time. After testing we will have many fun and engaging activities - field day, career day and our last PBIS Celebration! We will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 15- May 19. Please be sure to thank-a- teacher! Your child can make a handwritten thank you at home! Don't forget to attend our Art Show on May 17 at 5:00 p.m. You will be impressed!

“Supporting Early Literacy at Home: A Parent's Guide” is a series of online, self-paced learning modules designed to provide information for parents and caregivers so that they can support their children’s early literacy development.
Stono Park Staff was recently trained in Conscious Discipline which will be implemented into our school this year. If you would like to learn more about it- Click on this link to learn how you can implement these practices into your home.
