What a Productive Month!
I am extremely proud of the work of all of our students in the elementary and junior/senior high school band program!
At O.H. Somers, our Fourth Grade Recorders and our Sixth Grade Band members are hard at work, fine tuning their skills in the classroom. I want to also welcome our new Fifth Grade Band members to the program! Learning to play an instrument can be one of the most rewarding experiences in your education, congratulations!
At the Junior/Senior High School, the Wildcat Marching Band had some outstanding performances in the month of September at our football games and The St. Vincent St. Mary Band Show. In addition, our Junior High Band is continuing to prepare for Youth Night--coming up Friday, October 11. Keep up the great work!
I am excited by the progress of our students in the bands and hope that we keep that forward momentum throughout the school year!
Go Wildcats!
