What is plagiarism and how can you avoid it?
How can you avoid plagiarism?
You can avoid it by using quotes, paraphrasing and summarizing.
Quotes- The EXACT words of the author, don't have more than 50% of your paper be quotes that is the same thing as plagiarism, still must be cited in-text.
Paraphrasing- Rephrase the authors words, still must be cited in-text, changing a few word is NOT paraphrasing, keeping ANY of the same vocabulary is plagiarism
Summarizing- Only the main ideas of the text, still must be cited, should be shorter
