CROC TALK BRIEF
Nancy Ryles Elementary Newsletter ~ May 11, 2018
** SPECIAL EDITION **
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE - by Kayla Bell
Dear Families,
Just a reminder -- Friday, May 18 is our Croc Walk fundraiser. Students will be walking to help raise money to support our NRCO and the programs they offer students. Did you know that our NRCO uses every dollar you send in to support students?
Here are a few examples of what your dollars support:
- $6,000 to provide field trips for every child
- $6,000 to classrooms to purchase materials
- $1,200 to provide food and activities for classroom parties
- Funds to support our Kindergarten Welcome to Nancy Ryles Social each August
- Funds to support our Family Evening Events such as Bingo, Carnival, Family Dance, Art Night, STEM Night and Culture Night
- Funds to purchase additional technology for classrooms (iPads, Apple TVs, Monitors and more)
- Funds to support Field Day, PE, Recess Equipment, Art Literacy, our Green Team and so much more.
Our NRCO, with your support, continues to enhance the educational experience for all of our students. Our goal this year is to raise $25,000 during our Croc Walk, which is approximately $45 per child. We really do need YOU to help support the work we do here at school! Thank you in advance for supporting the work of the Nancy Ryles Community Organization here at Nancy Ryles.
