National Junior Honor Society News
Our amazing National Junior Honor Society students completed 655 hours of community service this past summer. The students were completing hours by helping at local concession areas, assisting with our city parks, helping at the local fairgrounds, coaching youth sports, assisting at the local animal shelter, serving food to our elderly population, some assisted at local churches, while others helped with back to school orientation. Wow! these students are rocking this! We are proud of you and your community efforts.
Members received their new community service form which is due December 16th. Members are asked to complete five community service hours of which two should be school related. If members have questions please see Mrs. DeWolf in J111. All members are encouraged to participate in three extracurricular activities (one of which is NJHS). This is to encourage members to participate in the many academic opportunities provided at LPMS.
