A Reading From The Gospel for Sunday, April 12, 2020
April 12, 2020 ~ A reading from the holy Gospel according to John.
Mary stood crying outside the tomb. While she was still crying, she bent over and looked in the tomb and saw two angels there dressed in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been, one at the head and the other at the fee. "Woman, why are you crying?" they asked her.
She answered, "They have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put him!"
The she turned around and saw Jesus standing there; but she did not know that it was Jesus. "Woman, why are you crying?" Jesus asked her. "Who is it that you are looking for?"
She thought he was the gardener, so she said to him, "If you took him away, sir, tell me where you have put him, and I will go get him."
Jesus said to her, "Mary!"
She turned toward him and said in Hebrew, "Rabboni!" (This means "Teacher.")
"Do not hold on to me," Jesus told her, "because I have not yet gone back up to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them that I am returning to him who is my Father and their Father, my God and their God."
So Mary Magdalene went and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and related to them what he had told her.
The Gospel of the Lord.

School Fees
Similar to all school divisions across the province, we are currently waiting for Alberta Education direction as to if and when the school will reopen prior to September 2020. Once we receive further notice from the province, the Finance Department will work with School Secretaries to process credit or refund to student accounts. As soon as EICS has further information on this, we will certainly share this with all of our families.
Once again, we want to thank everyone for their patience as we work together to best support our students during this time.

I Am Here For You!
Hi Parents,
How are you? I’m still thinking of you!
I just wanted to share this well-written illustrated book to help children understand what this COVID is and why it’s changed our life.
It was written for children ages 5-9, but it’s my personal experience that even some teenagers like a book read to them once in a while!
Wishing you wellness and health during this time,
Warm wishes,
Simone Moniz BA, MC.
