Movement
Moose also have the ability to swim. The way they swim is by breathing out big gulps of oxygen out of their nostrils, to prevent them from sinking. The way moose get that much oxygen is that they are able to fold out and release a ton of air. (Sohn)
Body Covering
Moose's skin is the color of brown or black on the top of there body, going across it spinal area. On the lower area, such as the stomach or lower legs is gray and brown. When a baby moose is born (known as a calf) their fur color is red and brown. Under the mouth/neck area is a flap of skin covered with fur called the bell. (Raedeke)

Moose more prefer colder weather which is why they live in the Canadian and the northern United States. So when the trees start to die and grow weak in winter it is easier to find food and makes it easier to chew. (Sohn) Warmer weather is bad for the moose because
