3rd Grade Awards Program - Monday, May 17th at 6:00 pm
3rd grade will be having an award program and performance at East Maryville Baptist Church on Monday, May 17 at 6:00 pm. The church's Covid-19 policy limits the number of attendees to 2 per student. We plan to provide a Live Stream link for those who are not able to be present (more info to come).
Due to these restrictions, if there is any reason your child will not be attending, please let your child's teacher know by email or Seesaw as soon as possible. This will help us plan accordingly. Attending students will be recognized and participate in the performance. We appreciate all of the help you have given your child and we are looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments all students have made this year!
Calendar Update
2021-2022 STUDENT VERIFICATION AND REGISTRATION
The NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION process will also happen in PowerSchool, so those families will create their Parent Portal first, and then go through the registration process.
If you are a family who received a Verification of Residence letter via e-mail, your documents must be submitted to your student's school no later than May 20, 2021 in order to be placed on a class roster for next school year. Please remember to have your verification form notarized and include ALL documents by the due date.
Review the section below if your child will be in KINDERGARTEN during the 2021-2022 school year.
Announcement for Parents with Pre-School Aged Children
Maryville City Schools will offer pre-kindergarten classes at each elementary school next year. Each classroom will be an integrated pre-K (IPK) program where children from families who meet income requirements learn alongside children with disabilities and peer models. The IPK will be a program that offers preschoolers with and without disabilities challenging experiences through a curriculum emphasizing social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. The integrated pre-k program follows the Maryville City Schools calendar. Students of families who meet income requirements may attend free of charge. Pre-Kindergarten applications are being accepted now. Details of the program and applications may be found at:
