Karen Horney:

She was a German psychoanalyst. She was born in Germany but she died in New York. Also became famous for being interested in psychoanalysis early in her medical career.

Alfred Adler:

He was an austrian medical doctor, psychotherapist, and founder of the school of individual psychology. Born in Rudolfsheim near Vienna, Austria-Hungary. Became famous because of Alfred Adler considered human beings as an individual whole, therefore he called his psychology "Individual Psychology.

Carl Jung:

He was a swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist who founded analytical psychology. Born and raised in Kesswil, Thurgau, Switzerland. Famous because he thought individuation to be the central process of human development.

Examples of jungian archetypes:

Universal, archaic patterns, images and counterparts of instinct.

Inferiority Complex:

It's a lack of self-worth, even having a doubt and uncertainty, and also having feelings that are not measuring up to society's standards.

Example: Feeling like your the happiest person around but in reality everyone literally everyone hates you.

Superiority Complex:

Defense mechanism in which a person's feelings of superiority counter or conceal his or her feelings of inferiority.

Example: Leaving high school thinking about your future, wanting to go to college or military.
