Free ticket to Six Flags!

Many families are familiar with the Six Flags "Read to Succeed" program in which students get a free ticket to Six Flags if they log at least six hours of reading. New this year is that families can complete the reading log online. Here is how:

Parents can register for Read to Succeed using the details below:

  • Register child at sixflags.com/books using code 6WBDJ
  • By April 17, complete the online reading log for your child.
  • Expect a Six Flags Great America ticket for your child in May!
Once your child is registered, you will have access to your online account. Please note, since our library aide Ms. Jastrow coordinates this program at Lakeview, when you go to the website above, it will think all of our students are in Ms. Jastrow's class.

Jam Fundraiser Reminder

Angel Grandma's Preserves Fundraiser Update: K4 and K5 Families: we hope that your friends and family are excited to eat these delicious jams! Please have your fundraising forms returned to school by Thursday, February 27th. "Thank you" from the Lakeview PTO!

From the Health Department

The South Milwaukee Health Department would like you to know about two upcoming events.

Here is a link to a workshop about bullying on March 10 at the St. Francis Library.

Here is a link to a substance misuse information event on April 1 in St. Francis.

Lions ROAR! Recognize a staff member at Lakeview

Is there a staff member at Lakeview that you would like to recognize? Our PTO has set up an easy way for you to recognize anyone at Lakeview that is making a difference for your child. That could be a teacher, paraprofessional aide, secretary, food service, or custodian. There are so many people working together for our students! We encourage you to let the PTO know so they can pass on your compliments! Here is the link to the survey. (You are welcome to submit more than one!)
