September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

Currently, the state of Tennessee's Childhood overweight and obesity Percentage is 39.7%. In the 2019-2020 school year, Oak Ridge Schools had an overweight/obesity percentage of 36.4%. Unfortunately, we are afraid we might see the rates for 2020-2021 school year jump even higher due to the pandemic. Read below how you can help combat this epidemic in our community.
