In the end of June 2015, the Supreme Court ruled that couples of the same sex could marry nationwide.
The Pope Visits the U.S.
Pope Francis visited America for the first time in September of 2015, making stops in Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. Hundreds of thousands of people flooded into each of these cities to see the Pope as he met many of his followers.
Attacks in Paris
Two tragic attacks occurred in Paris during 2015, only one week into the new year, 2015, the Charlie Hebdo building in Paris was attacked by men who shot there way into the building. Later in November three coordinated terrorist attacks occurred at a football stadium, restaurants, and a concert venue. A total of 130 people died during those attacks.
Virginia On-Air Shooting
A gunman inspired by racism killed two of his former colleagues while they were on-air for a Virginia TV station. The shooting left reporter Alison Parke and the cameraman Adam Ward dead. The gunman later died by shooting himself in a car chase.
All Day Breakfast at McDonald's
On October 6th, McDonald's released their "all day breakfast." Their breakfast no longer ending at 10:30 increased sales for breakfast products, and also is bringing in new customers for McDonald's.

Making over 1.7 Billion dollars and becoming the highest-grossed opening of a film of all time.
Having a very large event already, there were 3-D screening which cost more. They also used old franchising and made them new.

A fast food company that sells tacos, and coming out with a new breakfast menu in 2015 is one of the best marketed companies because of how they marketed their new menu.
In 2015, Beats worked with many musicians to increase sales.
In 2015 Taylor Swift was one of the people who marketed her music very well, she teamed up with Apple Music for her new album, and she created new and very popular music videos.
Selena Gomez did very well in 2015, she released a new album, Revival, and she worked with Beats to make ads.

Viola Davis made history during the 2015 Emmys, becoming the first women of color to win Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama.
Misty Copeland is making history as the first African American Female Principal Dancer, dancing with the very prestigious American Ballet Theater.
Karlie Kloss is a professional model who codes and encourages young girls interested in computer science to code, she has partnered with Flatiron School and Code.org to create a scholarship, Kode with Karlie, for those girls. she also has worked with Momofuku Milk Bar to make Karlie's Kookies, which the proceeds go to hungry children throughout the world.

She is currently the longest- serving member on the Supreme Court and also the second women Justice on the Supreme Court.
