Mayo Clinic Spark Opportunity

Mayo Clinic high school Science Program for the Advancement of Research Knowledge (SPARK) is seeking applications for their 2021 summer research program at the Mayo Clinic. Rising 11th and 12th graders with a 3.5 GPA and a strong interest in science are encouraged to apply to become a Mayo Clinic SPARK Scholar.

Their mission is to provide accomplished rising juniors and seniors with an intense experience in scientific research. Past students have proven to be more successful in STEM related careers i.e. doctor, engineer, scientist, dentist, mathematics and many more. Students will be performing research in a world class laboratory under the mentorship of a Mayo faculty member and their staff during the summer. This is an incredible “life-changing” experience and learning friendly opportunity as expressed by past Mayo SPARK Scholars.

Interested students should attend their Zoom meeting to learn about SPARK and how to apply. They will hear recent SPARK Scholars share their SPARK stories, how their lives and career paths were greatly changed for the better.
