News and Notes from the Principal
Lots of academic and extracurricular excitement is in the air at Richmond Hill High School! With this week quickly coming to a close we look forward to seeing ALL of our students back on campus on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Please continue to exercise caution while out of school in order for us to continue to maintain the level of safety and COVID protocols we have in place at RHHS! While we have seen a number of "close contacts" it is important to note that many of these cases occur after long weekends in which travel and gatherings are at an all time high. Please reach out to our school nursing staff should your child be in close contact, be awaiting results or test positive for COVID during this extended weekend.
As it relates to attendance and expectations regarding the check out process, please exercise the following should your child need to leave early! The process is as follows: send in a note, student drops it by attendance office in the morning, be sure to include a good contact number for verification, student will be given a class dismissal note, and sign themselves out
Have a safe and restful weekend ahead!
Thanks,
Bivins Miller

Health & Safety Reminders:
- If your child is unable to attend school due to COVID-related symptoms or an exposure to someone with COVID,please be sure to contact the school to speak with the nurse: (tparker@bryan.k12.ga.us or dfoster@bryan.k12.ga.us) - All attendance related notes should be submitted to Ms. Carolyn Oetjen via email at (coetjen@bryan.k12.ga.us)
- If your student is not feeling well, please do NOT send them to school. With concurrent learning they have the opportunity to take advantage of the curriculum even when not present - they can log into their google meets.
- Face Coverings are to be worn at ALL times while on campus, when lunch is not being consumed.
- Congregation before/after school is strongly discouraged. If we want to maintain in-person schooling it is important that we ALL work together to make this happen.
- eLearners are expected to follow the same schedule and meet the same expectations regarding timely arrival, interactions, assignment completion, etc. as their in-person counterparts.

CTE MONTH
In celebration of CTE Month, FBLA, SkillsUSA and TSA members have partnered together to send a little bit of love and cheer to the residents of Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation. Due to the pandemic, many of the residents may feel like they are shut-in and isolated. CTSO students designed, produced and signed Valentine’s Day cards, as well as stuffed treat bags that will be delivered to the facility before the Valentine Day weekend to show them they care.
