Child Find Birthday Celebration

Our Child Find Birthday Celebration that was scheduled for April 3rd was canceled due to the weather. We will not be rescheduling this. You may, however, bring your 3-5 year old that are currently NOT Marinette School District students, to our Parent Preschool that happens on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00. Please come between 9:00-9:15 so that you can fill out some required paperwork ahead of time.
Please call the Sunrise office at 715-735-2700 so that we may get the paperwork ready for you.

Parents of 4K

All 4k teachers, as part of parent involvement hours, have "Office hours" every Thursday from 2:50 - 3:30 p.m. This is a great time to call your child's teacher to check in, come in for an informal conference or have your child's teacher do a home visit. You can also set up an appointment with any 4k or 5k teacher to discuss your child's progress. This allows for ongoing communication with school versus the scheduled twice a year conferences.

Parents of 5k

Dear 5K Parents and Guardians:

Last month 5K parents and guardians were asked to take a survey in regard to how to celebrate your child's 5k "step up to first grade." The majority of parents taking the survey voted to allow the students to decide how they would like to celebrate. Therefore, our 5k students each nominated ideas within their classrooms and then voted on their top three choices. They have chosen to have bouncy houses, take a walking field trip to another local park and to have a water party on the playground. Please note, these activities will take the place of the formal graduation performance we have done in the past, and will take place the last week of school. We are working on creating a fun day for your child(ren) to celebrate his or her "step up to first grade." More details will be coming as the date gets closer.

Please contact Sunrise if you have questions regarding this event.

Thank you.

Please help! We need your input!

Sunrise is in the process of determining 4k programming for the 2018-19 school year. Because you may have experienced our current 4K, or are soon to do so, your input will assist us in designing/updating a program that meets the needs of our future families and students. Thank you for your input. Please complete this survey by April 15th, 2018.

Seesaw Portfolio

Have you signed up for SeeSaw Portfolio with your child's teacher? This is a great way for your child to share information they have learned, read you a book, or for you to correspond with your child's teacher. You have an opportunity to communicate with your child and his/her class with SeeSaw Portfolio. Please contact your child's teacher for more information.

Community Open House

  • Wednesday, April 11, 2018 8:30am-10:30am or 1:00-2:00pm

  • Open to all families and community members-no appointment necessary

  • You will get to tour the school, see classrooms, ask questions and see the kids and staff in action.

April 17th

4K and 5K students will be sent home with a progress report on Tuesday, April 17th. This is not a report card but just an update of how your student is doing.
